Naomi Klein (pictured here speaking in Vancouver) writes in this new article for The Nation about how the ideas of colonialism have not disapeared, but rather shifted into "reconstructionism" allowing for exploitation of other weaker/poorer nations. I would recommend this for anyone interested in disaster relief as something to keep in mind.
