whaddaya mean back in 2nd year? This is old man... 1337 sp33k has been around since Usenet and BBS. Although Microsoft's primer does make 1337 sp33k a valid part of English. <3 Microsoft. And I think you're old.
By the "back in 2nd year" comment I meant that I could have used this to understand what the hell my friends were saying on MSN/ICQ/etc. I know l337 reaches farther back into internet/geek history, but a tutorial like this would have been handy during that first exposure in 2002.
*snickers* I.. see...
All I did back in 2000 (*wink*) was guess and ask (if guessing didn't help). I guess 2000 1337sp33k was simpler to figure out. I blame AOL for making it worse.
Somethings aren't worth translating. Leetspeak is one of them.
